"I’m happy with my new G25 grinder. IF I have one complaint, it’s the capability of it. I understand the “25” means it has the ability to grind up to 25 grams. When I add 18-19 grams of beans, I have to finagle the handle back onto the base-almost like I’m pushing beans out of the way. The little output catch is jammed full, too. All-in-all, it’s solidly built and should stand up to my “gorilla finesse”."
"Overall this is a great coffee grinder, I use mine at home daily and like that it's small enough to take with me when needed. I grind my beans fairly finely, from 12-14 clicks (I think) off fully closed. I do also 'settle' the beans into the grinder at the start, usually 20-21gr of beans so that the top is easy to close. Two 'pro' tips for use: - put from 1-3 drops of water in with your coffee beans after the beans are in the grinder, especially if you are grinding a robusta bean (which are typically less oily) but I do for all beans - it knocks down the static electricity generated in the beans and makes pouring the grinds very easy and cleanup of loose grinds is minimized as the mess is greatly reduced. - when I grind somewhat small and particularly with hard or crunchy beans, I find my grip on the outside of the grinder can slip so that the grinder rotates in my hand when I turn the crank (and my grip strength is plenty good). I find that if I wet my hand a bit with water before grabbing the grinder to hold it, my grip doesn't slip at all. That's it! have fun!"
"Just got my VSSL kit, which includes a grinder. After figuring out water/coffee ratio i ground the beans. Took a little bit to figure out grind size, i think i got it right. Perfect grind consistency and really easy to grind and great cup of pour over. Im impressed."
"Smooth precision and great craftsmanship"
"Compared this to some more expensive options and considering its ruggedness well worth the price."
"great coffee grinder, highly recommended"
"It’s a good coffee grinder. It’s expensive, but you can definitely understand the quality of the material. So I like it."
"Best of the best! Well thought out design & concept."
"This grinder is built incredibly well, the materials are built to last. All metal, no plastic trash. Great color choices (i got grey) the burr is incredibly tactile as well. Couldn't be happier with it. Very very well thought out"
